I'm in the middle of the rewrite, which is more creative than analytical at the moment. I'm aiming for 15,000 words bringing the total rewrite word count to 40,000 words. So far I'm a little over 30,000.
Me, I simply put aside Bad Company and threw myself into Script Frenzy. I ended up writing 171 pages of script for Spanner. This month, I put the script aside (I need to do some world building and continuity work in my project blog before I start work on the second draft) so I can rewrite both of my NaNo novels. I'm writing 50,000 words of Black Science for MayNoWriMo, and I'm restarting Bad Company all over again and completely rewriting it now that I have the keys I need to make it hang together. All the old scenes (or most, anyway) will still be there, but now I'm doing a dual 1st-person narrative with both sisters (Charlie and Desiree) telling their parts of the story and maybe even sharing the protagonist job.

Hey, making that much progress on your novel *after* EdMo is pretty cool.
Doing Scriptfrenzy right after NaNoEdMo was... hard and tiring... both events are awesome and inspiring, but two- TWO - 'make a push every day all month long' events back-to-back was just too much... by the last week of April I was seriously dragging, and only wrote as much as I needed to hit the 100 page target.
I hope NaNoEdMo will move to February or June next year - not because NaNo should have to move just because Scriptfrenzy changed, but because Scriptfrenzy had a real/good reason for moving and for moving to April, and if EdMo could be flexible and shift to a month not right next door to SF, that will make it more accessible to many more interested people and help it grow the way it ought to(!).
Also, someone should start a thread of people who've contuinued to work on their edmo novels in April, or now in May, to keep some mutual support going,

Join writers from New Zealand and around the world to write 50,000 words in the 30 days of June. The Southern Cross Novel Challenge (SoCNoC, pronounced "sock-nock") is NaNoWriMo for the southern hemisphere. June provides the wintry weather and long weekend that we miss out on in November.
SoCNoC was first held last year with 60 people participating and collectively writing almost 1 million words.

I keep coming back looking for it, even though there's no hurry, but then it occurred to me to check in and see if that was in the plans for this year.

(Hadn't realized I somehow didn't/didn't get logged out last time I was here, so I've been logged in for over a week or two, oops)
Well, after EdMo I needed to switch into Scriptfrenzy mode right away, but it took at least three or four days to transition - to appreciate the work I'd done during March and see the improvements to my novel, which I needed before I could put it aside, by which time I was behind, so I've mostly worked to catch up and keep to the 3 1/2 pages a day you need to do for it to stay on track.
There's also an opportunity I have to write a short story to submit to an anthology taking submissions in the next month, so now I'm trying to write it and do Scriptfrenzy every day, with the idea of writing, editing and polishing the short story in three weeks as well as the three and a half pages of screenplay every day.
I would love it if there was another edmo in like June, July or August, I would do it in a heartbeat.
That's about as far and as much as I can see right now, will be re-evaluating it all in May.
Cheers everyone.
